"As soon as I was old enough to peer over the worktops, I remember being fascinated by what went on in the kitchen. It just seemed such a cool place, everyone working together to make this lovely stuff and having a laugh doing it."
My blog designed to share different things I have either tried cooking in the kitchen or on the grill that I felt could use a share.

Southern Sweet Tea
Ok, So I have decided to go ahead and post my sweet tea recipe. I went to a Southern BBQ Pit last week, and it has got me in the mood to make Southern style foods at the moment. Y'all know what I'm talking about, the sweet, greasy, just like mama made it, some soaked in BBQ sauce cuisine. So, here is is.
Zac's Southern Sweet Tea:
8-10 Regular Tea Bags (black tea)
1 1/2 - 2 cups white sugar
Gallon Container.
Lemon
Take the 8-10 (I use 10) tea bags and place them in a sauce pan along with 2 cups of water. Bring the water with tea bags to a boil. When water boils remove from heat, cover and let the bags steep for 20-25 minutes. Remove the tea bags from the water (I like to squeeze each bag out, but don't break them). In a one gallon container mix the hot tea and the sugar until the sugar is dissolved. After the sugar is dissolved, fill the container with cold water. Now, you can either add a lemon sliced in to wedges into the tea and let it sit overnight and then remove the lemon wedges, or just add them to the poured glass. Chill overnight before drinking, and then proceed to enjoy.
